Pets play an important part of many families and deserve a place in MacNanny. The Pets window provides an easy means of keeping information about your pets (see Figure 6).

The Pets window includes fields for the pet’s name, type (e.g., breed), birth date, registration number (e.g., American Kennel Club), vaccination date or the month it is due, veterinarian, and veterinarian’s phone.
There is also a field for the pet’s medical history and marking to help identify the pet.
If you have not entered any pets (the New button is grayed), you can begin typing information into the fields.
To add a pet to the list, start by clicking New. Enter the pet’s information in the fields.
When you have entered all the data, click Add to add the pet to the database. Clicking Cancel deletes the new record and reverts to the previous display.
Changing Pet Information
You can change the information about a pet by first selecting the pet from the list. Then, make the necessary changes. The changes are saved when you select another pet or close the window.
Displaying Information for a Pet
To display the information for a pet, click the pet's name in the Pets list. MacNanny will display the information you have entered.
Check the information for accuracy and completeness after you enter or change any information.
